Sanyo Denki establishes a new company in Salem, Oregon USA.
In order to supply an expanding solar cell market, Sanyo aims to have a production capacity of 600 MW by 2010. In addition to the Sanyo Solar USA company, Sanyo is buildling a new factory to increase ingot and wafer production.

Bridgestone reinforces adhesive film production for solar cells
